Josh, I am on the Bohemia River (Upper Chesapeake) and I have left Frolic II in
the water for 6 years with no problems. The marina installs a bubble system
around all of the slips. I winterize all systems and have an air dryer with fan
dehumidifier that runs all winter. I remove some of the personal items like
bedding, clothes, food, etc but leave everything else on the boat. I take the
sails, bimini , and dodger off - they are stored in a non heated garage. I have
designed a frame system out of pvc pipe and put a tarp on from the mast to the
back stay. I live about 30 minutes to the boat and will make several visits a
month.
