The trip took 5 and a half days. As far as equipment, we used a laptop with 
OpenCPN for primary navigation and a handheld GPS unit as backup. Having an AIS 
receiver was helpful as well. We also had a HF radio to get weather updates and 
talk to our weather guy. EPIRB/PLBs onboard as well. A Viking Life Raft was a 
recent addition...

Just completed a passage from Hampton, Virginia to St. Georges Harbor in 
Bermuda abroad my good friends 35-MK2. The good old boat did great in heavy 
conditions we encountered while crossing GolfStream. Here is a few photos
