The Dereks have the 33-2, Graham, but same concept as the 35-3. Several of the 33 owners on the list have done substantial rebuilds to this area as well.
I may have unwittingly dodged the bullet on this one. When I had my floorboards out this spring I noticed (finally) that quite a bit of the bilge area had mismatched gelcoat, and on further investigation it looks like the boat may have been grounded and the sump area has been rebuilt already. Looks like a good job since it took me several years to notice it. I see no issues around my mast step. (Fingers and toes crossed).
