Not sure if SeaTow is the only provider of this service, but it seems to be in Long Island Sound. The GOOD news is that they use a number of different channels, so by knowing what stations use which channels (for example Bridgeport, my closest station, uses #24, Port Jefferson, #27 and Huntington Harbor #28) so by using the farthest first, I can tell how far my radio is transmitting ! - Much better than I first understood. You can get a map of the various stations in your area by entering your zip code at http://www.seatow.com/boating-safety/automated-radio-checks Jonathan Thomson C&C 35III - Indigo, Southport CT _______________________________________________ This List is provided by the C&C Photo Album http://www.cncphotoalbum.com CnC-List@cnc-list.com _______________________________________________ This List is provided by the C&C Photo Album http://www.cncphotoalbum.com CnC-List@cnc-list.com
