I was getting a little jealous of one of our local car dealers captain
giving loud blasts before leaving the slip in his 90 footer, so I bought a
couple Large ship horns. It's fun once in awhile, but a little difficult to
deal with, what with a 40# Bronze horn that you have to carry up to the
companionway and aim away from everyone's ears, 25 feet of hose and an
aluminum CO2 bottle with a large 2 stage Regulator.
I would really like to get down to about 100 Hz, but those puppies are
around 350#!

I think most of us have boats that are less than 40ft so don't have to carry
a bell!

While talking about sound signals, any else using their air horns on those
pesky phone calls that start "This us Rachel. There is nothing wrong with
your credit card but..."
