Thanks Alan

Yes I’m using some good quality Trident sanitation hose.

At the moment I though I’d hold on any self-pumpout option. Not sure, for one
thing, if I’ve got the space for it!

Subject: Re: Stus-List Head Piping and Bilge Pump Discharge

My original setup had a three-way valve so I could pump the head to the holding
tank, or overboard. I also had a manual "bilge pump" attached so I could pump
the holding tank overboard when I couldn't get to a pumpout. I changed this
arrangement so that it would be simpler. My current configuration has the head
pumping into the holding tank, which can be emptied using the deck discharge at
a pumpout station, or using the "bilge pump" to empty the holding tank
overboard. Remember to use high quality discharge hose. It's expensive, but
necessary so that you won't get smell emanating from the hose.
