My similar vintage (1978) C&C27 has hose like this plumbing the cockpit drains:

Steel reinforced hydraulic suction hose is pretty tough stuff and will last a
long time.
The drains themselves on my boat look just like ordinary bronze plumbing sink
drains.
Take a half an inch off of the outside diameter of your hose and that will be
the inside diameter of your hose, assuming a wall
thickness of approximately one quarter of an inch. In that size range, hose is
usually sold in quarter inch increments on the
I.D., so you should be able to guess/estimate the size by measuring the O.D.
and eye balling the wall thickness.

Any idea what size and where to purchace the cockpit drain hose from?
I would not expect it to be any special hose low to no pressure hose?
Looks like a 2" hose but dont want to disturbe the old hose till I
have a replacement in hand if you know what I mean.
Thank you for the advice.
