Can't be that...it says right in the ad how great a boat it is. I love that
the head line states it has "...One Mast with Cabin...!" The compass is
removed too. But hey, it's documented! So, you can sail it anywhere, because it
is a "Fiberglass Hull and is a Blue Water Boat so you can sail it around the
world if you like or to the Bahamas..." Danny

Ha, missed that. I was surprised by the lack of detail on the boat systems --
mast has a radar dome, main cabin has a diesel heater, a few electronics
visible but no comment on any of it.

 Definitely some red flags.
Several years back I bought a small bowrider power boat down in that same
area. Boat had major fiberglass issues when I got it (only paid $1800 for boat
and trailer due to issues) - turns out the seller had bought the boat thinking
it was in great condition and getting a great price.
First time out on the water with his family and the bottom delaminated off
huge strips of fiberglass and he had to get towed to shore.
Seems the guy he bought the boat from had picked up a write-off boat - did
some half-assed repairs and sold it "as-is".

Wonder if this boat might have a similar nasty history?

I'm still looking for a boat right in that size range. Price is good and
looks ok in the pictures but hard to say what you can't see. Not much detail
in the description - and a little concerning that the owner does not know it's
a Mirage 30!
If it was closer I'd go take a look first hand

 That's not a C&C. Maybe a CS or a Mirage...?
