That's totally cool, man.
I once said that my boat was rated 126, and another LF38 owner laughed
at me. I'm sure that the rating wasn't made under my circumstances, but
frankly nobody races with mountain bikes and air conditioners and
foredeck cows and kayaks and women and everything else imaginable on the
boat.
Heck, if my best rating is 126 and the worst rating a Farr 40 gets is
63, then I can live with it. Heck, a 6 foot 4 inch Napoleon who only
had a part ownership in a Melges 24 once dissed my boat into my face and
then published his thoughts on Sailing Anarchy under a false identity.
And that boat only rates 81. But it planes --- just like a Macgregor.
