Of course, you can't buy that 25.  So what to do?

Yeah, boats are more expensive in Europe, but the good news is that
there are loads of them, and many - even smaller ones - are built to
bluewater standards.

I'd keep looking.

Another option, if you really want an adventure, is to pick up an
inexpensive 10-12m boat in the Caribbean, book off a month or two to
kit it out (say in St. Martin), and then sail it back to Holland (next
May/June)

That, in my opinion, would get you sailing a whole lot quicker and
likely for less money than that c&c 25 would cost you in the long run.
 And you'd also get a cool trip out of it.
