Hi Rick,
I saw that vacuum on your list and you are
setting folks up for the dual bag vacuum video!
This is as good as cows on the foredeck, and if
you haven't seen it, do!

Thanks for the warning.
Cheers, Lee
I agree with Edd. Try something nautical and
feminine. Try the following websites:

Perhaps show the location of a romantic weekend
cruise

Lots of compressed carbon and shiny metal at
David Virtue

Lots of potential casual gifts and boat décor

I bought one of the silver and gold Turk's Head
rings for my GF. The seller does really good
work at reasonable prices.
Maybe you could give her something like foulies
to keep her dry and warm, if you are really
committed to boat gear - or perhaps something
cuddly and soft for cool nights on the boat.
But boat gear is not romantic . You're likely to
get a reaction similar to that you'd get if you
gave her a new vacuum cleaner for her birthday.
You might get away with an oversized
self-tailing winch at Christmas ("Honey, I
wanted to make sailing easier for you.") but not
on Valentine's Day.
