One of my friends is on the PHRF committee for Chesapeake Bay. He says those "individual" changes one makes to a boat are considered individually. So, if you already have the asym and have been rated with it, the only change you are making is, in essence, adding length to your pole. That ranges (usually) from 3 to 6 seconds.
Send it in and be prepared to argue if you get screwed. I've mentioned on this list the situation where another friend took the inboard engine (dead) out of his Andrews 26 and added an outboard. Minus maybe 300 pounds - also PLUS three seconds, from 138 to 141. Go figure.
