One of my friends is on the PHRF committee for Chesapeake Bay. He says those
"individual" changes one makes to a boat are considered individually. So, if
you already have the asym and have been rated with it, the only change you are
making is, in essence, adding length to your pole. That ranges (usually) from 3
to 6 seconds.

Send it in and be prepared to argue if you get screwed.

I've mentioned on this list the situation where another friend took the inboard
engine (dead) out of his Andrews 26 and added an outboard. Minus maybe 300
pounds - also PLUS three seconds, from 138 to 141. Go figure.

  Subject: Stus-List PHRF rating change

I have purchased a Sparcraft Bowsprit for my 36' C&C and was wondering if
anyone knows what change will take place on my PHRF rating of 127. I race on
the Bohemia River on the northern end of the Chesapeake Bay and use the
Annapolis rating system. My spinnaker is an asymetrical.
