Dave,

 

Yes, I had water coming up through the keel bolt.  The boat still makes water, 
I just haven’t located the source.  It’s not a lot, but enough to kick the 
bilge pump off every now and then.  Annoying, but not serious.  I still have a 
serious stench in the bilge that I can’t locate.  I suspect water may be 
trapped under the head, but have no way to access it.

Thanks for the reply. That’s comforting, believe me. When you say the “forward 
keel bolt was leaking” can I take that to mean that you had salt-water 
intrusion into your bilge? A this time that isn’t the case with Ronin. Just 
plenty of freshwater from above I’m afraid…
