I'm up for it. I know a few local spots for lunch.
My favorite is the Back Bay Ale House up in the inlet. They have an upper deck
that overlooks the harbor, some local brew, and serve an 8 once "Cheeseburger
in Paradise" with steak fries with Old Bay seasoning, beside a full menu of
usual fair. Medium prices.

A less expensive venue is The Irish Pub on St James Place. They serve a "Poor
Richard's soup and sandwich" for $3. It's not much, but if it is isn't enough
food, order a second helping. It's usually enough and a good way to save money
for more beer. They have a large menu of other choices , too.

A must stop just before heading home is the White House sub shop which makes
the best Italian lunchmeat subs on the planet and is the benchmark by which all
others are measured. If you like Italian subs, order the Special which has
extra meat. Tell them your taking them home and they will hold the oil and
vinegar, and put the hot peppers in containers for you. The rolls are baked
fresh across the street in brick ovens and the sandwich makers claw out the
middle of the roll so you don't eat so much bread, and there is more room for
the lunchmeat. They have 20 different kinds of subs, but cheesesteaks and tuna
subs can be had most anywhere. Get the special.

It does sound like a fun idea. But I'll skip the gambling. I once lost every
penny I had at the slots...that's a $1.75 I'll never see again and I've always
regretted it.

All,

Is anyone interested in a Winter C&C Owner Rendezvous at the Atlantic City Boat
Show ( http://www.acboatshow.com ) on Saturday, February 9?

Some thoughts: Meet at the show, then a group lunch or dinner, followed by
putting your new sail budget on the pass line.

Could be fun.

All the best,
