I'm considering adding an EPIRB or PLB over the winter. I know the EPIRB is registered to the boat and the PLB is not. I know the EPIRB is good for 48 hours, the PLB is good for 24. If I get out of the Bay it will be to New England or possibly Bermuda (in my dreams).
