Hi Liz, I think doyle started these and they call it a stack pack. All the
canvass shops will make you one and call it something a little different. Keep
in mind you can't have a loose footed sail and it becomes part of your sail. I
asked about these when I was shopping for new sails and decided against it. I
figured a lazy jack system and a regular sailcover was best for me. I guess I
wanted them to be separate. I only met one guy that had one and he raved about
it. However, he was hoping I would buy his boat at the time. DannyLoilita1973

Good evening!I'm wondering what these 'new' (new to me) sail cover and
bag are called.I have seen them on several sailboats old and new this season
and I'm told by one owner that your main sail is sewn into the bottom of this
bag and when you drop it the sail falls into the bag and when it's closed it
looks like an ordinary sail cover.Replaces the lazy jacks for sure and
it looks great!I would really like to investigate for Mistral but I
forgot to ask what it is actually called. If anyone knows....it would be
the 'list guys'!Love all the chat back and forth and all the
info!Many thanks!LizMistral V C&C 35-1Harbour West
