What am I doing wrong? Before I started to change the oil for winter layup I ran the engine for 15 minutes or so, and checked the oil level (at the top line on the dip stick) Using a brand new Jabsco oil changing pump put the plastic tube down the dipstick hole. I pumped out what I could and measured what came out - just 2 quarts. This was confirmed because 2 quarts of be oil took the level back to the top line on the dip stick.
The manual says that there should be 2.8 quarts in this engine.
