If the load of tequila were movable, it would be faster as well.RonWild CheriC&C 30STL

Our wind on the Chesapeake tends to be light most of the time. We do well in light air. I think adding 600-800 lbs. to my keel would probably slow us down more than help us. Of course, the PHRF gods would not treat us well for this type of modification. What reason could a man have to modify his boat, except to make it go faster??? OK, Wally might modify his to carry more tequila, but that's just him. What are the rest of us to do? When I bought mine I heard of this and wondered if it would be a good investment. 3 seasons later I'm happy with the boat and feel no urgency to add the shoe. BTW we're not in a light wind area. We get just about everything for conditions on west side of Georgian Bay. If you sail in predominantly light wind area you will love the boat. Check out the stability diagram and the sailing calculator on Stu's site under technical info for more information and boat comparisons. http://www.cncphotoalbum.com/ Dwight Veinot C&C 35 MKII, Alianna Head of St. Margaret's Bay, NS _____ _______________________________________________ This List is provided by the C&C Photo Album http://www.cncphotoalbum.com CnC-List@cnc-list.com _______________________________________________ This List is provided by the C&C Photo Album http://www.cncphotoalbum.com CnC-List@cnc-list.com ----- No virus found in this message.
