Hi David, We purchased our C&C 37+ in early July of 2010 so haven't had it very long. We have put several thousand miles on it and have had it long enough to know we are very happy with the boat. We haven't found anything we don't like about it (except there isn't anywhere to easily stretch out to sleep in the cockpit, some people wouldn't find that to be a problem). We don't race her as we have crewed on other peoples boats racing for years and still do. This way we don't have to strip the 1000lbs of cruising gear we have accumulated to make her race ready. We also get by with dacron sails this way.
I haven't seen any recent reviews of the 37/40 series. There are a couple from back in 1988 when the R version first came out (same hull and deck, more spartan interior and slightly different keel and mast). I could email them to you if you are interested. *//(\\./) (\\(\\\.(\/)/ /)/ * Ken Heaton & Anne Tobin S/V Salazar - Can 54955 C&C 37/40 XL - Hull # 67 Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia On 18 September 2012 00:42, David Roberts <drobert...@comcast.net> wrote: > I am concerning the purchase of a 1989 C&C 37+ with the fin keel.
