Danny,
Lets hope it's not the prop. You've got a 50/50 chance it's installed
correctly.
I'd continue the engine shaft alignment process and see if the vibration
diminishes or goes away. However, if the vibration continues, it could well be
the prop.
Most folding props are balanced by the manufacturer. When balanced, the
manufacturer should stamp a small mark on one blade and on one side of the
hub. To maintain the balance, the blades should be installed in the hub the
same way as when balanced, i.e. the marks should line up. If the blades are
swapped, imbalance, and thus vibration, may result.
You may be able to check the marks underwater with a strong dive light. If
not, you can remove the prop underwater, check the blade marks, mark the hub
and blade with tape for visibility and re-install properly.
