The 'onboard' in the name refers to the motherboard, meaning that the
GPU (graphics processor) is a chip on the motherboard rather than being
on a separate board (card) plugged into the motherboard via PCIe.

The RAM needs to be compatible with the motherboard and especially with
the CPU that you plug into the motherboard, but not with anything else.
The graphics card will have its own RAM pre-installed.

Hopefully you're aware that motherboards come without a CPU which you
have to buy separately. For a small fee, MemEx will install the CPU for
you, which I highly recommend as it's a skilled job. It also allows you
to get IPR (MemEx warranty) on the whole assembly.

I also recommend you go into a MemEx store at some point because you'll
get very good advice on which components to purchase, and how to put a
whole system together. They might try to upsell you a bit, but if you
make your intentions and budget clear they'll respect that.
