Well, closing the current account and getting a new one is not only extreme, 
but also futile, since she is going to have the same contacts again. now 
getting a new life with different contacts might be a thing... but i digress.

Changing the password is the practical thing to do, and educating her daughter 
not to give passwords away on the interwebs sounds like a prudent idea.
