Thinking of this from the fundamental troubleshooting techniques could save a lot of effort.
BIOS is at a lower level and I have seen systems go from misbehaving and intermittent to straight forward easy Linux installs. (with the latest bios version) Another example of low level would be checking the power supply for ripple or noise. Digital meter does not show that. Changing other components will not help. Not saying this is your case, but worth thinking about the basics. You can see a lot of time wasted once in a while when basics ignored.
