Hi, I have tried to install ubuntu with two different boot disks. It works somewhat with the live session but will not install. It seems to hang on
./casper/filesystem.squashfs then errors found in 1 files! I took it to Staples and they said the hardware checked out. Here is my setup HP pavilion 500 AMD A8 7600 8 GB Memory NVIDIA GeForce GT 705 1 TB SuperMultiDVD Burner Drive My thought is that I could try a USB intsall rather than the DVD. I have read some of the forums on this problem and it seems beyond my capabilities. Is there a recommended shop? Thanks, Bob
