If you go to our web site you can find our mandate, sort of speak, in about CLUG Q & A: What is CLUG? CLUG is the Calgary Linux Users Group Guild. We are an organization dedicated to promoting the Linux operating system in the Calgary area.
http://clug.ca/wordpress/about/clug-frequently-asked-questions/ I may have a different idea as to what that means, but you happen to not agree, all the more reason to be engaged. There has been a lack of speakers coming forward, hence my coming up with a related topic. That is because anything I expect others to be interested in doing, I have to be willing show by example. (not just say you go do it) My talk is to include examples of what I have been doing, not just theory or supposition. The hardware example I want to use for the show and tell is a bit out there, in that it is an experiment beyond what I have done or am presently willing to do on my clients bare metal. (seems to work quite well so far though) I expect everyone to have their own approach to things. Our club is very much made up of individuals. Have I done something wrong to cause the lack of response on the list? To my knowledge we have only four Tier Two members at this time, so if you want a vote you can fix that at our next two meetings. If you want something different you should be thing/talking about that too. Are there not many possibilities? More topics to share are still very welcome! Thanks for your attention.
