Yes a few hours... no hardware issues 1/ Installing 2/ Updating 3/ Tainting the Kernel (clicking install nVidia) --Utilize hardware 4/ Install Samsung MFP drivers by pointing to server Samsung Unified Linix Driver Repository (SULDR) (updating /etc/apt/sources.list) -- Printing and scanning works 5/ Configure Evolution mail client to Telus pop3 backup and restore seemed to have brought over contacts and email to new install 6/ Configure/test enscript for printing 7/ Mostly done, system looking good so far, including sound and video.
Need to look at Libreoffice SS and chart formats for easier data entry etc. I am kind of lazy, so I would tend to do it a little differently.
