Hi All, In the throes of a random brain fart, I deleted the DCIM directory instead of copying it on my Galaxy Nexus running 4.2.1
I believe it is still possible to recover the files but as a first step need to "root" the phone. With my recent string of bad luck, I am quite nervous and would greatly appreciate if someone with specific knowledge of this situation would kindly walk me thru the recovery.
