Probably old news to some of you, but it is possible to seamlessly watch Netflix (or other Silverlight video players) without manually jumping through Wine hoops.
The Pipelight browser plugin acts as a wrapper for Windows browser plugins and automates the Wine ickiness. Installation is fairly straightforward (at least it was on Fedora) and documentation is excellent. The Netflix experience in Fedora 20/Firefox seems identical to Windows.
