I have some live boot/install usb sticks of SolydXK Might be worth a try since the Live boot may tell you right away. My experience was SolydXK seemed to setup audio for workstation by the recommended pulsed audio setup. I have installed it on three different hardware systems and two virtual box installs. And audio just worked in all five(5) cases. I do not think my installs used HDMI, but the post below seems to suggest cox283 at least got HDMI audio results. Let me know if you want to try the live boot stick? I have been using OpenELEC on two computers for HTPCs. Both are almost identical - one is the original low power mintbox - the second is a low power fit-pc3. http://www.fit-pc.com/web/products/fit-pc3/fit-pc3-specifications/fit-pc3-lp-specifications/ Both use an AMD APU. On one I use Audio over HDMI and can pass though Dolby Digital audio to my reciever. Yesterday I decided to load SolydX on one because the video and/or audio would stutter and I was having trouble fixing this. Today I was able to get stereo audio through my HDMI on my home theater using SolydX. _______________________________________________ clug-talk mailing list clug-talk@clug.ca http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca Mailing List Guidelines (http://clug.ca/ml_guidelines.php) **Please remove these lines when replying
