*** That is just part of the reason I like it. Ultimately more control over my data from wherever I am. And n NSA or the like poking over my shoulder. Well...not much anyways. lol > From what I recall, when you set up Own Cloud you specify where the data > is to be stored. Would I have to set up mounts for each folder (i.e library, media, etc.) or just one at the root of the NAS? I woudl back it up anyways....but should that be necessary or would it recognize what was already there? > Regarding backups, I used to worry about backing up my development > work. Upstairs hanging off the router is an external USB drive with I have lovingly called the "Oh Crap Drive" (OCD for short)...for the likley once in a lifetime instance when the house was on for or something....you would say, "OH CRAP the house is on fire" & grab the drive. The external drive that leaves the house is for those cases when say you are out...and like a flood situation...say you can't get to the house you have your data with you. > > On 14-04-17 11:50 PM, TekBudda wrote: >> Hi All, >> >> Thought I would ask some thoughts about how to go about the following. >> >> I have recently built a fresh CentOS server install that I intend to >> install OpenLDAP on & act as a PDC.
