No, I believe not.

(meta-package)
firmware-linux-free - Binary firmware for various drivers in the Linux
kernel
firmware-linux-nonfree - Binary firmware for various drivers in the
Linux kernel 

They are drivers for the kernel, not Network Interface Card.

I remember getting my NIC going full Gigabit speed by using my 
Ethernet controller: Intel 82579 Gigabit
and am using the e1000e driver.

This does not seem related to the firmware necessary in some hardware
cases.
