Would like to extend the picture from the computer to the TV. The TV in a crt. It has composite, component(wires red, blue, green) and svideo. On laptop I am using CrunchBang Waldorf 64 bit at the moment and have a vga and hdmi output and a converter to go to composite or svideo. I hooked it up today, but am not getting a picture on the TV. Is there something that I need to set up in Linux to get the picture on the TV. I'm not sure how good these converteres work so would appreciate any advice about that and what is the best choice of connection for picture.
