I've been testing OwnCloud for about a month now.  Simple setup, and seems
the least quirky.  Mac/Windows/Linux clients are free, but unfortunately
Android/iOS clients are not free (no source code, and they charge for
mobile clients -- but only a couple dollars.).  I prefer this to all the
git-based solutions since git isn't really designed to handle large
binaries.  Also, OwnCloud has a pluggable architecture, including a slick
LDAP plugin and some nice document preview plugins.  It also has calendar
and contact sharing plugins (caldav/carddav) which seem pointless to me.
