What I'm looking for is a replacement /etc/apt/sources.list that will let synaptic work fully.
A buddy speculated that the repositories would move rather than disappear but I haven't been able to find them and not of the suggestions offered have gotten me any closer. Seems I must wait until until I move up to 12.04 LTS or Mint. Thanks, Chris
