Thanks, Mel. I thought I'd tried the obvious things with the envelopes; I'll follow your suggestions later to see if I can make it work.
De-selecting won't get it to complete the word as it projects . . . Apr. 6 is ages away in terms of Calgary weather. I noticed on the weather site that it's snowing, and just scared a rabbit away from the bushes and trees beside my place when I looked out through the blinds; it will probably come back, as it was just at the front of my neighbour's place. Maybe the crocuses will start poking up by the 6th (on sunny, S-facing slopes)- but my winter tires will be on until almost the long weekend.
