Speaking of, does Shaw get their knickers in a twist over running services on residential connections? I've had a personal "server" running on my Time Warner RoadRunner connection pretty much since the first day I had service with them and have never had any problems. There are no serious public facing activities happening on it so I don't have to worry about thousands+ of webhits per day or anything like that. Shaw seems like a likely candidate. How well do they respond to being badgered in keeping the promotional pricing going with threats of switching to another provider? :-) --[Lance] -- GPG Fingerprint: 409B A409 A38D 92BF 15D9 6EEE 9A82 F2AC 69AC 07B9 CACert.org Assurer _______________________________________________ clug-talk mailing list clug-talk@clug.ca http://clug.ca/mailman/listinfo/clug-talk_clug.ca Mailing List Guidelines (http://clug.ca/ml_guidelines.php) **Please remove these lines when replying
