I have been looking at routerboard for a while. The only thing that makes me want to go elsewhere is that I can't find much on routeros. My suspicion is that it is some kind of Linux that they hack together themselves. That would mean that kernel updates may be slower than a regular Linux distro.
What I want is a board that runs Linux and preferably Debian. Do you know if you can install another OS on this board without having some JTAG or some other hardware system to assist you in doing it.
