I am actually going to some events around this same time. I didn't sign-up for the InstallFest because I don't have a laptop that meets those requirements... but it might be worth a visit down there....if not to see the fanboys bragging about how wonderful Win7 is...and to watch some of the chaos when things don't work quite right..LOL
But goods points on the amount of stuff that Linux can be installed on...
