I've tried most of the FOSS router packages out there - but have been using IPCop steadily for a very long time now here at my place. We have more then a dozen computers that it handles without a problem. Running on a Pentium 233 I believe. With 256mb of Ram.
The only addons I really use are URL Filter, and Banish. And sometimes the Red MAC Spoofer.
