Try [K]ubuntu. I have just installed this combo from packages using the Synaptic package manager. Either Dapper or Edgy will have the package you want. Once you taste a DEB package based distro you won't go back! It'll be like candy.

I have been running various systems with Redhat, Suse and CentOs for years and have been relying on rpm updates for most applications. However, I now have the need for things like PHP5 (no rpms available) and Mysql 5x. The mysql5 upgrades are not such a big deal as rpms are available and have already upgraded a couple systems.
