But people said that the Debian install was too hard and not graphical enough (apparently it looks dated when compared to the Mandriva/Fedora/SuSe installers). I almost never bother with the live CD since the alternate is much faster to actually install Ubuntu on a machine with. I guess it depends on the target audience.
