Hello All,

My brother Mel and I got partial success in that by editing
~/.sversionrc by taking out the first line, when open office was
installed and started up again, the line was not there to mislead the
program and the program supplied the correct line.

And now open office is working.

The reason that is partial success is we do not know what created the
lockfile in the first place.

My brother and I agreed that possibly I might have right clicked when I
meant to left click and that might have caused the lock file.
