Hello again Bogi,

I opened a terminal and then did an ooffice command and then opened
dm200507.sxc and did a top command and minimized the document.

Root used 2.3% CPU and 11.8% of Mem in Xorg
and michael used 0.8% CPU and 0.5% of Mem in top and michael used 0.3%
CPU and 4.5% Mem in gnome terminal.

And nothing in the above seemed to change when I closed the document and
then closed ooffice.

The results of the above test and the fact that I have 192 Meg RAM make
it seem unlikely that RAM or lack of it is the root of my problem.

Cheers Szemir,

Michael
