Hi gang. I'm trying to download VMWare, following the instructions on the license card I won last night (Thank you very much VMWare, et al). I get to the step that says "At checkout, enter your discount code and click the 'update cart' button to receive a 100% discount on your purchase. I enter the discount code, and hit Update Cart, and get told I have an invalid discount number.
It's one of those wonky codes in the format "11AA1-11A1A-11AAA-1A1A1", and I've tried entering this in upper case, and lower case, and with and without the dashes. No luck. There is a zero in the code, and I tried substituting an 'O' (letter oh, not zero), still no luck. I'm curious if I'm the only one having this problem. Or maybe VMWare forgot to enter the discount codes in their systems? Thanks for any feedback.
