I had an ftp and I up'ed about 9 gigs one month, they shut me down until I
phoned them. They told me downloads they really didn't care about it was the
uploading over a gig a month that pissed them off, so I think the limit is
around a gig a month. Then he told me that if I had a business account they
wouldn't care at all. I stopped the ftp after that cuz I didn't want to eat
into the shared bandwidth that much but it was interesting to know that for
the right price they just look the other way and let people eat as much as
they want.

I've exceeded 100 Gigs in a month, and they never cared. I did a backup of
a
server from work, and KNEW it would be a lot of traffic, so I called them in

advance to let them know it was going to happen. My home account is just a
normal residential account.

My average month is much lower, perhaps 5-15 gigs.

They'll care far more about upload, I suspect. Mine is always pretty low.
I
doubt I ever exceed a gig.

Kev.
