You can try in you repl with

(take 1 (map (fn [_]  (println "executed")) (vec (range 100))))
(take 32 (map (fn [_]  (println "executed")) (vec (range 100))))
(take 33 (map (fn [_]  (println "executed")) (vec (range 100))))


you will observe the 32 sized chunks.
