While it's great to list features, the specific features really aren't the point--the point is that new features can be added with very little friction. If you had to restart the program and lose all the state you've built up just to try out a new command you're going to be less likely to bother with it, but if you can just open up your dotfiles, bash out a new defn and try it incrementally, you're going to be more likely to experiment with the little things.
