Yes - automated testing of cljs in the browser would definitely be Grand with a capital G.
Not sure exactly what it would take, but it may be helpful to use this cljs-info.repl/cljs->repl function as it allows you to send cljs-forms for eval to the browser and get the result back from your clj environment: write test functions in clj to test cljs-forms in the browser. How to set it all up that it works in an automated way… is still unclear to me. -FrankS.
