I need to clarify something, since I unintentionally introduced confusion into this discussion. The initial comment by faenvie referred to the book "Practical Clojure", a very good book (I own a copy). I spaced out and thought that faenvie's comment concerned the newly released "Clojure Programming". I threw in my two bits, and a link to a promotional release of some material from CP. I apologize for my carelessness. My enthusiasm for CP got the best of me.
