The docstring goes before the argument list:
(defn another-f
"doc string here"
[x]
{:pre [(pos? x)]}
x)
user=> (another-f -1)
java.lang.AssertionError: Assert failed: (pos? x) (NO_SOURCE_FILE:0)
user=> (doc another-f)
-------------------------
user/another-f
([x])
doc string here
nil
